Hiring Opportunity at Pool!

UPDATE: The application period has ended.

Meet some great neighbors and help out in this wonderful community by working at the Fenwick pool this summer!

Fenwick HOA is hiring multiple pool assistants to check in residents, maintain CPC guidelines and disinfect high-touch areas in the pool and bathrooms area during open pool hours.

This is a great PAID opportunity for adults and college students. Pay is $10 per hour.

The pool is open every day (except Mondays) from June 1 (projected) through early September (14 weeks). You can work every day or a few days per week in four-hour increments. Morning/early afternoon, mid-afternoon and evening shifts available.

Must have good customer service and organizational skills, and able to: work in hot temperatures in a shaded outdoor area, disinfect high-touch areas, enforce HOA waiver policy, and communicate with both adults and children.

If interested, please complete the form below to explain why you could be a good fit for this position and when you would be available to work (your preference of days and time periods). If your work or volunteering history shows you have the abilities required, please share that information as well. If you have any questions, please email fenwickpool@gmail.com.

We look forward to working with you!

2020 Fenwick Pool Monitor Application

  • The pool is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 8 and 9 p.m. Morning/early afternoon, mid-afternoon and evening shifts are available.
  • Please describe your availability.
  • This field is for validation purposes and should be left unchanged.

Fenwick Pool to open with City’s Phase 3 reopening schedule

Fenwick HOA is excited to open the swimming pool with the city’s Phase 3 reopening, which is projected for MONDAY, JUNE 1. Please note: If the June 1st date is delayed by the city, then the pool opening will also be delayed.

The health and safety of residents and staff are our top priority. To decrease the possibility of COVID-19 transmission, new guidelines and precautions are in place for the pool area and bathrooms.

Pool Monitors will be on site during open pool hours to check you in and confirm safety precautions and requirements are being followed. Residents are now being hired to fill these positions. Find more info here.

All members are required to sign a waiver before or on their first visit. One waiver covers all residents within your household. There are multiple ways homeowners can complete the waiver:

SIX FEET: Family groups are asked to maintain a distance of six feet from other family groups while in the pool and on the pool deck.

RESIDENTS ONLY: For everyone’s safety only Fenwick residents will be allowed at the pool this summer. Please do not bring your friends and guests.

FURNITURE: Chairs and chaise lounges will not be available. You are welcome to bring your own!  If CDC guidelines require less frequent cleaning later in the season, we may provide the chaise lounges and chairs again.

TOYS: Pool toys, noodles and inflatables will not be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own! Please note: Any clothing, towels and toys remaining in the pool area at the end of the day will be thrown away.

CLEANING: High touch areas, such as pool railings, handles, doorknobs, bathrooms, etc. will be disinfected frequently throughout the day. Bathrooms will be professionally cleaned twice per day in addition to frequent disinfecting of all touch areas.

KEYCARDS: If you need your first keycard or a replacement (replacement cost: $10), download this form and come to the clubhouse at one of the following times to pick one up:

      • Monday, June 1 from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m.
      • Tuesday, June 2 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
      • Wednesday, June 3 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Please remember that persons under 16 years of age MUST be supervised by a guardian of at least 18 years of age.

View the main pool webpage for general pool information, including open hours and rules.

New management in 2020

Fenwick Homeowners Association and the east Fenwick Gated HOA have a new management company. The HOA Boards are excited to announce that The Property Center (TPC)TPC logo is Fenwick’s new management for 2020. TPC recently began managing our nearby neighborhoods, Griffin Park and Copper Creek, as well. A formal announcement will be mailed to all homeowners very soon along with the invoice(s) for annual dues.

The email address for Fenwick HOA business is still fenwickcommunity@gmail.com and voicemail service is (405) 341-1428. These messages are automatically forwarded to management.  (If you have Garden Village business, you should instead visit its website.)

All homeowners in attendance would constitute a quorum, per the HOA by-laws, and would vote on election of three board members.

During the follow-up meeting, Loreanne Cowan, Angela Koenig and Scott Monetti volunteered to join the Board. There were no additional nominees. Cowan, Koenig and Monetti were elected unanimously to begin three-year terms.
