Dallas New
Nominated by CAROL DORAZIO
“Dallas has been such a blessing to several families on Kemble Lane. He helps with anything from an installing a garbage disposal, to replacing several fences for multiple neighbors with outstanding workmanship that lasts. He also landscapes and maintains lawns, prunes shrubs, and stops by to help whenever he is asked to evaluate a problem or help with a project. He’s a wonderful neighbor and member of the community, also volunteering with the Boy Scouts of America. This is all on top of his regular job and responsibilities as a husband and father. Our family has known Dallas for 10 years as a neighbor on Kemble Lane, and he has been a great friend and blessing.”
John Kaufman
Nominated by Jessica Kaufman
“Yes, John is my husband and I’ve been wanting to find a way to recognize what he does for the neighborhood. He takes walks around the ponds by the clubhouse and the ponds/creeks in the back of the neighborhood and fills large trash bags with litter/trash. He has found a bashed in tv sitting in the creek. Went home got his wheel barrow and fished it out of the creek. He’s picked up broken glass off the street, on the sidewalks, or next to the side walks, around the ponds, tons of grocery bags, the list goes on and on. A few weeks ago he spent two hours picking up trash around the pond on the east side of the clubhouse. We’ve lived here for almost 4 years and that’s how long he’s been doing it! In my eyes I think he is a Great Neighbor to everyone!”
Sebastian Rogiers
Nominated by Joanne Lynn
“I am a 74 year old widow, and my special needs son, Steve, lives with me. Steve recently had extensive shoulder surgery, and lawn care was delegated to me. Sebastian saw me out fighting the lawn mower, told me I should not be doing that, and proceeded to finish the lawn including the trimming. When he finished, he told me he would keep up my lawn cutting until Steve was cleared to begin the maintenance again. I have tried to pay Sebastian for things he has done before, but he does it because he is a dedicated Christian believer and a GREAT husband, provider, and father.”
